FUSION: Tikka Masala at School Today - by Shirley Sokol

Food is a powerful educational tool. You can teach children how to grow it, cook it, why it is important to their bodies and how it ties in to cultural diversity. In our FUSION series, we will look at why it is important for schools to introduce regional and global cuisines. You will be surprised at what many K-12 and college cafeterias offer now.

Over the past decade, student food has changed in miraculous ways and it has elevated the younger generations palette as well as the awareness of the world around them.
